PRICE RECALL
—RECALLERS REVEALED—We finally learned the identities of those who have funded the recall against Alameda County District Attorney Pamela Price to the tune of more than $1.1 million.
—The Independent Expenditure Committee named Supporters of Recall Pamela Price raised $760,530 last year through Dec. 31, according finance records released on Wednesday.
—The IE has raised another $445,330, which is not included in yesterday’s report, according to seven individual reports filed since the most recent filing period.
—Philip Dreyfuss, the Oakland businessman leading the fundraising effort to recall Price, donated $390,000, a figure representing more than half the IE’s total contributions.
—Price’s campaign has long labeled the recall effort as being funded by real estate interests and donors from outside of Alameda County. The IE’s report bears that to be generally true, although many listed as living outside the county have business interests in Alameda County.

—SAFE MONEY—Meanwhile, Save Everyone For Alameda (SAFE), the group leading the recall, has spent $1.5 million, as of Dec. 31, according to finance records.
—Nearly half the expenditures—$693,537—have gone to paid signature-gatherers. In addition, SAFE owes $552,616 to the same signature-gathering company.
—Among the notable donors to SAFE is two of Price’s predecessors, former Alameda County District Attorneys Nancy O’Malley and Tom Orloff. Each contributed $5,000 to the recall in early December.

—PRICE’S SUPPORTERS—Protect the Win for Public Safety, the committee opposing the Price recall, has been very vocal. Based on campaign finance reports, those opposing the recall are talking the talk, but not walking the walk.
—The IE reported just $66,746 in contributions, as of Dec. 31, according to finance reports. Of that total, $16,837 was transferred from Price’s 2028 re-election committee.
