ELECTION 2024
77 days to Primary Day
U.S. SENATE
—LOOKING BETTER—A SurveyUSA poll released last week shows Barbara Lee’s U.S. Senate campaign may be within striking distance of a spot in the top-two March Primary.
—The poll of 590 likely primary voters places Democrat Adam Schiff in a strong position atop the field.
—Baseball great Steve Garvey, a Republican, has slid into the second position, according to the poll conducted on Dec. 7.
—Lee is tied with fellow progressive Democrat Katie Porter for third place in the poll.
— However, when those polled were allowed to choose more than one candidate, both Lee and Porter appear in position to grab the second spot in the November General Election.

Adam SCHIFF 22%
Steve GARVEY 15%
Barbara LEE 12%
Katie PORTER 12%
Eric EARLY 6%
James BRADLEY 5%
Christina PASCUCCI 5%
—For Lee, the brightest spot in the poll is that she leads the entire field among 18- to 34-year-old voters. It’s a strong signal that Lee’s unabashed support for a permanent ceasefire in Gaza is boosting her numbers.
